Books

I wrote my first novel when I was fourteen years old. It was mostly a project undertaken to entertain myself and my friends – wherein the plot had us stranded in a dense forest, only to run into the New Kids on the Block, who were also conveniently lost. In my defence, as mentioned above, I was not quite fifteen yet. But nevertheless, I was diligent and committed enough to write fifty thousand words. And with that, a new world opened up to me.

My first published novel called ‘Running on Full’ was released in 2010, by the reputed Indian publishing house ‘Rupa’. It was a bit of a fictionalised memoir, that looked into the trials and tribulations of growing up as a female sports fanatic in India.

My second book was pure fiction – and one I thoroughly enjoyed writing for that reason. By then, I was blessed enough to have been signed on by the international publishing powerhouse Penguin. ‘Who, Me?’ is a laugh-a-minute romantic comedy with tons of adventure and thrills thrown into the mix.

While the third novel is currently a work-in-progress (I have to keep telling myself that), I continue to frequently write short stories that I publish directly on Amazon Kindle. You’ll find links to some of these works below.
