I began my career as a journalist in 2001, at the Hindustan Times, then India’s leading national daily published in the capital, New Delhi. But when I come to think about it, my dalliance with journalism began way before that. In school, I was always part of the editorial team of the monthly magazine published by students, in college I was editor of the annual yearbook. Telling stories is what I’ve always done. It is my lifeblood.
Ten years into the business, I was lucky enough to enjoy several years as a prime time news anchor on India’s No.1 English news channel, Times Now. By 2016, I was co-anchoring the highest rated English news show in the country, The Newshour.
