As ‘closet’ artist, i.e. not a professional one, most of the commissioned work I have done has been for family and friends. I have catalogued only some of my favourite ones here, like the massive life-size Kathakali dancer painted for an aunt, and the cartoonish, 6-foot-wide ‘Intergalactic Family’ painted for my nephew’s nursery.
